Eagles having a tough time with the giants today. I’d blame Foles but it’s the D that’s playing bad.

Ugly win. Obviously glad we won. Not feeling good for the playoffs though at this point.

They found a way to win the game. You can say that's all that matters.
Just very strange. Last week against the NYG it was the defense that was an issue. This week against the Raiders it was the offense that was an issue.
I don't know what to expect going forward, especially in the playoffs, without our MVP Wentz at the helm.

They play to win the game, so expect that! Yes losing your fancy 2nd year pivot Wentz hurts but you still have a lof of quality at other positions. This might not be a Ring year for you but I think a NFC title game is very doable.

Kinda doubtful to keep it real (2 games or more). My main concern is the fact that our coach doesn't seem to feel the need to change the game script much at all, now that Foles is the QB.
I think that's a huge mistake, and it bugs me that coaches can be so bullheaded like that sometimes. Reid was famous for that here too for years.
My optimistic hope is that maybe our coach kept it really vanilla last game, as to not give away some possible game plans for the playoff games? [crossing fingers] lol

It's a blessing they have 2 weeks. I think Pederson is gonna get some 'mental help' from the entire coaching staff. They're gonna game plan to the few strengths Foles might have. Perhaps a mix of slot and utilizing every RB to the fullest. He's gotta get rid of the ball quick. The o-line will be stressed to the max. Thank god they are healthy, and hopefully up to the task.

Apparently Travel agents making bookings for Minnesota fans going to Philly are warning their customers not to wear any gear with Viking colors or logos around town. They are worried that they will be met with violence or at the very least verbal assaults. I heard this on my local sports talk station. A regular listener then texted in that he went to a Flyers game wearing his Oilers Jersey and he got verbally assaulted and had a lot of ketchup and Mustard thrown at him before and after the game.
Philly sure has an interesting Reputation!
What stadium/City do all of you think would be the worst to go to for opposing fans?

I went to the Padre/Yankee world series in 98. The old Yankee stadium. I went with a group of older people, my mom, and my nephew. I wore a Padre hat. It was terrible. I didn't come home with my hat and most of the older people would not even go to the second game.
I walked all through the stadium and it was really really cool. So much history. Just don't wear any rival team stuff.
I also heard on talk radio that the cops in Philly are warning all business owners to lock down their stores and bring in all trash cans and flower pots. haha.

That is surprising to hear that a Yankees game was like that. I thought they would see a lot of opposing teams fans roll through the gates so they would be used to it.

Just put it this way, the Eagles were the first NFL team to build a courtroom and mini-jail in it's stadium. In 1998, the team installed a court and jail under the stadium run by Judge Seamus McCaffery. The fans had been so unruly that the team decided to arrest, imprison and try their fans under the stadium. True story. That was the old Veterans Stadium. Don't think the Linc has that today. I grew up in Veterans Stadium. My mom worked for the team over 20+ years, and me and pop went to all the games there. I saw a lot of really wild shit. Most of the crazy stuff went down in the 700 level. I remember fans cheering sometimes like somebody scored a TD, but wasn't shit happening on the field, it was massive brawls that sometimes broke out up in the nosebleeds. We had good seats down at the 200 level, but I can still remember watching somebody rolling down the stairway right beside me during a fight. When Tampa Bay Buc fans traveled to Philly for the NFC Championship Game one year, they all paid for and packed into stadium box seats because they were scared to sit among us in the stands. I hear Oakland is a pretty rough place.

Sadly I think the move will change the atmosphere that Oakland had built but maybe it will travel to Vegas like it did from LA
