Everyone wants to beat the patriots (Except teams in their division apparently) I hear ya, however; not many teams can say they even went to the Super Bowl in the past 15-20 years. We did, and we lost to them. I'm a little more invested and legitimate than most

STUPID TOM BRADY You make a good point. If we're fortunate enough to make it to the big game, and we lose to the NE, I'd be MUCH more upset than losing to Andy and KC. At least I like Andy and KC. If we don't win it, I'd like to see Andy get one. Would still be a tough pill to swallow; Andy not winning here with us, but then coming back to beat us on the opposite sideline. Nevertheless, PATS are the LAST team I want to see win another SB. Now that we've come to an agreement, you can stop kicking your dog around the house

I don't get too full of myself with the Pats. I am a long time season ticket holder, and I love to root for the Pats, but I also love the game.
Here's a list of teams I rooted for in my life. Many kept me busy when Pats were the laughingstock of the NFL
Dallas - I loved Roger Staubach and Tom Landary, I also loved the Cowboys 1st Superbowl team under Jimmy Johnson. They dethroned the 49ers in the NFC Championship game. It was electric. Washington - The Hogs and an earlier team coached by George Allen "Over the Hill Gang" Packers - when Favre was an upstart 49ers - dynasty team, amazing to watch. Bills - under Jim Kelly. I would attend the Bills @ Pats game every year. I would hang out with the busloads of Bills fans. We talked football and they fed us. Good deal! Oilers - under Warren Moon Chargers - under Dan Fouts KC - right now, I would like to see them win the SB Eagles - right now, I would also like to see them win the SB.
I respect Pittsburgh and the one team I hate is the Broncos. Their dirty chop blocking was legendary.

Bills - under Jim Kelly. I would attend the Bills @ Pats game every year. I would hang out with the busloads of Bills fans. We talked football and they fed us. Good deal! I loved watching that Bills team. Thurman Thomas was one of my favorite RB's, and Bruce Smith was a beast who was so fun to watch also. Amazing they never won the Super Bowl. Really did like that team. Oilers - under Warren Moon Glad you brought them up. I will never forget one game, in particular, vs. Oilers when they were playing their best football.
December 2, 1991. Eagles fans remember it as "The House of Pain Game." That was the night the Eagles put the Oilers' Run and Shoot offense out of business. The Eagles won 13-6 in one of the best defensive performances ever on Monday Night Football. The Oilers came into the game with a 9-3 record powered by their prolific offense which was averaging more than 400 yards per game. The Oilers were, indeed, putting up big scores, especially at home. They were unbeaten in the Astrodome that season with lopsided wins over the Raiders (47-17), Broncos (42-14) and Bengals (35-3). That's how the Astrodome got the nickname "The House of Pain."But the Eagles came into the game on a roll. They were 7-5 due mostly to injuries at quarterback - they had gone through four of them since Randall Cunningham went down in Week 1 - but they had won four in a row going into Houston and the defense was crushing people. It was ranked first against the run, first against the pass and first overall. No defense since the Minnesota Vikings in 1975 could make that claim. The national TV audience settled in for what was billed as a matchup of great offense versus great defense. What they saw was a total beatdown administered by the Eagles. Bud Carson's defense sacked quarterback Warren Moon four times, forced five turnovers and limited the Oilers to two Al Del Greco field goals. Linebacker Seth Joyner was all over the field, recording eight solo tackles, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two sacks. linkThis video is fucking awesome. Love that old music they used to insert on highlight reels * I'm obviously biased in my opinion, but I truly feel the Eagles had the best defense of all-time that season *

I'm not sure of another player that dominated the two leagues the way he did. He played for the Edmonton Eskimos and was grey cup champion in 78, 79, 80, 81, 82. The guy was amazing!

The Eagles are on a nice run, playing with confidence and looking like a real threat. I just hope they face some adversity soon and learn how to overcome it when its not lose and go home time! I would love to see them play for the Lombardi! They will have a tough challenge with the Saints and Vikings if they meet. Both are really good teams! The Rams could also be in that group of dangerous teams but I could also see them have a playoff stumble but I could be wrong.
