My favorite Beatles song and one of my all time favorites. One of the greatest songs ever. I only wish I could find the original video.
Its only fitting that I post my favorite Soundgarden song also.
Rest In Peace Chris Cornell.

McCartney concert in Petco Park (our baseball stadium) a few years a go was phenomenal. We were in the eighth row. Marlene could not quit standing up and dancing in the isle. haha the people complained and security came. She would get back up when they left. About the third time they were going to kick her out and I said "She really can't help it sir" They took her closer to the stage and gave her her own little spot so as not to bug anyone. haha. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GSXescrI5wEdit. Oh yeah Marlene dances really cute. Even to this day.

1969. I was four years old. LOL. Of course I knew nothing about this song then but later in life learning of this song while vacationing at the beach when I was around 12. I instantly loved the hell outta this song. So now everytime I hear this it takes me back to when I was just coming into puberty pretty much and girl crazy. This song brings back some sweet memories. Plus the song is just great. I can see myself going to Woodstock and everything. I should have been a teenager in the late 60's.
Ohh and BTW.....No this song isnt about Meth. lol.
You would be surprised to learn that he got the title from the book of Revelation.

This song reminds me of when my Grandfather on my mothers side died. Mom was so upset cause they all were taking stuff before they even put him in the ground. Granddad had a lot of fishing equipment and I was the only grand child that was ever aloud go with them (Dad,Uncle & Grand dad) fishing when they went on one of their fishing trips. Thought maybe I would get something to remember him by but it was all given to others in the family.
Grand dad was a man of few words but when he spoke you better have been listening cause he didn't tell ya twice.

No story needed here. Just one of the all time greatest songs ever and one of my all time favorites. Probably one of alot of peoples favorite songs. Never get tired of hearing this song.
Collins wrote the song amid the grief he felt after divorcing his first wife, Simone, in 1979. In a 2016 interview, Collins said of the song's lyrics: "I wrote the lyrics spontaneously. I'm not quite sure what the song is about, but there's a lot of anger, a lot of despair and a lot of frustration.

In light of the recent death of Gregg Allman.... I have a song with a story to tell....
I was on the "lamb" at one point, for close to 5 years, hiding out in the mountains of upstate PA. Finally the United States Marshall's caught up with me in Philly, and I eventually had to do my time(backstory)...
Unfortunately, I eventually had to leave the mountains of PA, cause there was no work available. I moved back to Philly, and got a welding gig.
Was there for about 6 months. Had no choice but to give them my real SS#(shop union), which I had been previously not doing with other jobs. I was giving fake ones and bouncing from shitty job, to shitty job...before they had the chance to catch on. Figured I was off the "radar" by that point, and I needed health insurance to get surgery for a lower hernia operation.
I was wrong though, as I was still on their radar. It popped up in their computer database, and they came to get me at work right before lunch. Gave my job a fake home address too, which they tried first before coming to get me at work.
One of my bosses told me that I was wanted in the main office. Was right around the time(6months) I was due for health coverage. I figured was something about that. I went to the office and saw all of the heads of the company in there, and noticed two large shadow figures follow behind me from another room across the hall. I knew what it was, and it felt like when Joe Pesci walked into the room thinking he was gonna be a made man in 'Goodfellas'.... right before he got whacked! Thankfully it was just two United States Marshall's, and not hit men(which also wasn't out of reason at that point).
They both asked me, how did you manage to dodge us for so long? Keep in mind they sent out a task force to my parents house, and several other locations...
Full swat team type of shit. It was way overdone on their part. I did get caught with close to 4 ounces of powdered cocaine, but they acted like I was Pablo Escobar. I told them, tell me first how you found ME, and THEN I'll tell you the rest.
They were unwilling to oblige that information, and we both just laughed it off. It was no joke though. I had to do time.
Actually met up randomly with a detective at a bar, years later.... and he told me they took my confiscated vehicle to an undisclosed location and took target practice on it because they couldn't find me. True story. I had the option to buy it back before I took off, but chose not too. Thought that was pretty fucked up considering they could've donated it to a good cause instead. Just goes to show how hard-up they were for me, lmao. Keep in mind, I'm NOT in some backroads hicktown. I'm in a major city not far across the bridge from Philly, in NJ.
Anyway's...This song reminds me of... me.
Absolutely one of my all-time favorite songs. RIP Gregg Allman....#LEGEND

Damn this sucks. Everybody I grew up listening to are all leaving this earth. Jeez...talk about makes you think about your own mortality.
I have another all time favorite today. Fitting song for today. Another country song. This time by G Strait. This song definitely makes me want to be 25 again.
