Which Jesus are we talking about? The non-white guy that preached forgiveness, caring for the poor, turning the other cheek and love? Or the modern guy, who hates gays, minorities, the poor and women who want control of their own bodies? He appears to love Murica and guns. I'm confused. Not sure where Jesus said he hates these things. Perhaps you are referring to Paul speaking of the natural Order of things? Or maybe something from the Old Testament? Confused sounds correct

Confused sounds correct No. While I too have read the Bible many times through, I do not claim to be comporting myself as a Christian these days. I am somewhat of any angry and bitter person. Still I don't veil my my hatred of people of color and right wingnut views under the guise of Christianity. I despise these people almost as much as Trump. Perhaps more, because this is the type that feeds his ego and gives him support. If you believe in it, wouldn't it be great to be at the Pearly Gates when Peter tells these impostors he does not know them and the elevator is going down?

So you dont veil your hatred of people of color? Why do you hate them in the first place? Or are you implying that right winged professed christians hate them? That would be a profound statement. One that would be hard to prove I would think. Maybe clarify for us so we can sort this out.
Like you I have read and still read the bible many times through. We probably also share a similar view on what the church has become. I havent been in almost 2 decades. Church going christains are for the most part very fake people. Not all of course. Some are outstanding people but they are in the minority. But racism? You lost me there.

I guess I was not clear. I meant I don't do what others do. Myself, I have no particular animosity towards any race, just certain people and things they do. I practiced martial arts for years with African Americans and still call them my friends. I have had good Korean and Japanese friends. Even known people from Iran (now Americans) Egypt and Lebanon who I have had a close personal relationship. We are all the same on the inside. Same blood and organs. Same hopes, fears and the capacity to love. It is socialization that separates us. Not the color of our skin.

I judge by character. However you kinda painted religious Republicans with the racist brush in your post. How well do you know this group? I’m not sure your statement is fair

I’m not sure your statement is fair Well, it is a small sampling, but I was shocked by the small sampling of the church I used to attend. We had a brilliant but humble pastor that led me back to Christ after I had wandered away for years. His teaching was full of love and compassion for others along with moral responsibility. He had retired and moved to California to be with other members of his family before I learned what a significant number of the members truly thought. They embrace Trump and his messages of hate and division. It was like he was never there. Beyond that, I don’t know what to tell you.

Not to debate and we won’t but trumps message of hate is an opinion. And many many good hearted people don’t believe that message. And most intelligent people as well. I have huge issues with church members and the church itself. But racism is not one of them. It is fair however to say hate of homosexuality is ever present in the church.

Blue I have a question. Do you consider boarder security hate and division? Yes I do. This is a horrible situation. I do believe there are some very bad players in the mix with the innocents seeking asylum. I also believe we have significantly interfered and caused a lot of the violence down there. But how do we deal with this? I don’t believe in open boarders either. This problem is a bit above my pay grade. It will take some extremely astute minds to solve this situation. Unfortunately, we don’t seem to have them at the present.

Sorry buddy. I don’t find any of the sources you sight credible. You don't remember these events, and how he prematurely responded with his own racist judgement against police officers, causing riots and racial divide?

What does this have to do with our Racist in Chief?
