Eagles were impressive overall once again in week number two. They have the best points scored compared to given up ratio in the NFL, and if I'm not mistakin, the defense is ranked as the 4th best in the league right now. Wentz looks nothing like a rookie, and they could've scored more if J.Matthews hadn't dropped a sure TD pass from Wentz that was perfectly thrown. Head coach Doug Pederson has also been impressive so far as well. Masterfully called gameplan this week that took CHI completely by surprise. Wentz has to stop taking these big hits though. That's the only thing that really concerns me about his game so far, especially considering RT Lane Johnson(4th overall pick 2013)will be suspended 10 games after next week. I have ZERO doubts now otherwise that this kid is the real deal, and will be a huge success in the league. We also have to clean up these dropped passes too.
Funny story....Philly fans who traveled to CHI went to a cubs game a day before the Eagles game. The started a VERY loud Eagles chant that could be heard throughout the entire ballpark, and sounded more like the Eagles stadium during a game, lol. Our fans are freaking awesome, forget what you heard!

The Eagles looked good on both offense & defense. I agree the kid has to learn not to take some of those hits. The division as a whole could be pretty good.

I wouldn't write Nelson Agholor just yet,he is starting to show some signs that he could turn into a good WR an if he does the Eagles will have some nice pass catchers for Wentz.

I think the combination of Bradfords weaker arm strength and Chip's unwillingness to take shots deep downfield really hindered Agholor in a major way. His strength is on deep balls and stretching the field. Chip Kelly didn't hardly ever take shots downfield, because he thought it would take too long for the offense to get back in place to snap the ball quick enough for his insane paced offense. EVERYTHING was underneath, and that's why his gameplans become VERY predictable rather fast. Drove me nuts. If you don't at least threaten to take shots deep every so often, any good defense is gonna have an easy day. I'm so glad Chip is gone. I kept hollering at my tv for him to take a freaking shot on a deep pass. He never heard me though That's not an issue now with cannon armed Wentz at QB. The kid is Farve like, and likes to go deep downfield like a gunslinger. Agholor will do much better this season. At least he has a much better opportunity to this season. He had better. Make or break year for him IMO

Ok got two wins and looked really impressive.....against two of the worst teams in football. Your eagles may very well be for real and I get the excitement but lets see how they fair against a real team first. I suspect that wentz will not fair well against pitt. Maybe he will prove me wrong. I still got these guys finishing third in division.

Playoffs "may" be a possibility, but I'm not counting on that. They are headed in the right direction though, and it is exciting. There are sure to be some stinkers against good teams, I don't doubt that. I'll take what I can get though

Giants made some good moves in the right direction and have alot of young players. The cowboys look like they have their future QB and RB. Eagles may have theirs as well. Skins look good and the are pretty young. Maybe we can get some dominance out of the nfc east for a change. That would be nice

I still got these guys finishing third in division. You still holding strong to that? The more that I see Wentz command the offense, and the defense continuing on so strong, my expectations have risen substantially for this team.

Ok, so this guy is clearly a NY'er who hates on Philly teams, but still....this is funny. He talks about Eagles fans and the old stadium(Veteran's), where it was so rowdy they actually built a courtroom in the stadium to arrest and process people on spot. I grew up in that place, lol. How freakin funny is that? Imagine having to face the judge about public intoxication issues, while you are STILL messed up just moments removed from the incident

The Eagles whooped that ass big time. Made them look bad. Wow. LOL. Im embarrassed for the Steelers. Nothin' like a good ol' fashioned ass kickin' ESPECIALLY when basically everyone was predicting us to lose, even the local press reporters. I wouldn't have bet money that we'd win that game, but I did think we certainly were capable. However, I also didn't imagine that we would totally dominate them like we did, on both offense & defense. Wentz throws for over 300yds, 2td's, wasn't even sacked and still has yet to turn the ball over even once in 3 games now. Big Ben sacked 4 times and harassed for most of the contest. He's actually the first QB to make it out of a game against our defense without being injured. Leading rusher in the league(D.Williams)at that point held to just 29yds. 31pt victory. Steelers couldn't even muster up more than one field goal all game long? The looks of befuddlement on their faces was pure bliss to me. In all fairness though, I was kinda in shock myself that this game was THAT lopsided. Very decisive win here this week over a team that is supposedly a serious contender to go to the SB. I don't want to allow myself to get too high from this win, but it sure does feel nice, and all is sunny in Philly right now
