It just started raining and getting windy here now. Funny thing is about them saying it's going to veer left eventually, more towards me, I've heard something else that says these things don't make left turns on the east coast. Hopefully they don't.

That's nothing, hate to say it. It's not super typical, and it would never go too far (?) south. But there was one about 15 - 20 years that came up towards the south western Caribbean, then veered NE. As a diver in the main forum of it's kind, a lot of folks were freaking out cuz it never happens. So straight west is not a stretch. They are probably going off merging weather patterns where there is a convergence of wind shifts. Did that sound like I know what I'm talking about? lol

Did that sound like I know what I'm talking about? lol Kinda. I was talking about the US Eastern Coastline though. History says these things just don't usually make left turns, lol. They always come from somewhere down past PR and work their way upwards, or straight through, but never really making left turns after hitting East Coast. That's what I was told, and that's what I'm hoping is true. You're story is a good one, but I clearly am in favor of the one I'm telling. I'm a little biased though.

Earlier today before the rain. It only rained later for 20 min or so, a few hours ago.

That doesnt look too bad at all so far.
I just seen the radar and looks like it did turn but still turning northwest so looks like you have avoided the worst part. just depends on how long it lingers with the rain but its steadily weakening.

Seems like it's just a matter of time before we lose power. It flickered once, and then shut off for a few seconds later. I'm praying that doesn't happen, but it almost seems inevitable.

Note to self. Don't attempt to bring umbrella outdoors again. lol. Trying to keep my phone dry and it backfired, like I knew that it would.

The revine is filling up and sorry but the end of this made me laugh. Is the umbrella history?

The revine is filling up and sorry but the end of this made me laugh. Is the umbrella history? Yeah, that was funny as fuck at the end there. Knew that was a good possibility to happen. I laughed at myself on that one. The umbrella survived though. I'll have to use a towel next time to keep the phone dry. The ravine has been filling up rather quickly, but there's still plenty of depth to it, and I've heard the more that it fills the faster it flows out to the highway somewhere. We shall see.

A-Yo, these videos are all fun and games until I gotta step out from cover and check the ravine. Probably the best parts for everyone else. Cracks me up too, but it's all in good fun...for now

Just keep it dry inside until Sunday night buddy. Then, hopefully, you are home free.

Just keep it dry inside until Sunday night buddy. That's what she said...OHHH [Dice Clay voice] Nah, I'm gonna try to keep it dry, but I've still gotta keep an eye on this ravine though. If the water level rises up to my back fence then I'm gonna have to start putting some shit in the dishwasher, lol. Might as well continue to share the videos.
