Crying and whining about how their feelings were hurt...
Cut me a damn break already. I like the fact that we make our home-field a hostile environment for other fans to come visit.
That's the way it SHOULD be, IMHO. We DON'T want you there cheering on your team. DUH. It's supposed to be an advantage to have home-field for a reason, and that's how we keep it.
Of course you're going to get some flack walking into our stadium cheering for opposing teams and wearing their gear. What else do you expect?
In all reality, they marched into our town asking for it...
Falcon fans weren't crying after coming to Philly to watch their team lose, just a week prior. It's a bunch of hogwash from a weak fan base looking for something to focus on, outside of the fact their team got their asses handed to them in a demoralizing fashion. If they want to take their anger out on somebody, it should start with their own team and coaching staff.
The media propped this thing up before the game even started.
Minnesota travel, ticket agencies: 'Be warned' of Eagles fans, who are like 'gangs'
They ran with that narrative after they lost because it was easier than dealing with the fact that they sucked ass in the big game. Go suck on an egg.
Sure, there were some beer cans thrown at Viking fans, which I don't condone, but I didn't hear one story of any Viking fan getting physically hurt while attending the game... unlike some other incidents of opposing fans in other cities getting shot, stabbed and killed.
Some cans thrown, probably a few beers spilled on some Viking fans, and of course they were all hollered at with vulgarity. So fucking what. Get over it. Your team lost. Focus on that.
We get villainized as Eagles fans, but it ain't really as bad as the outside media tries to make it out to be.
Now Viking fans are plotting to sabotage and hurt Eagle fans when we come to see our team win the Super Bowl in Minnesota.
Vikings Fans Are Planning To ‘Throw Stuff At Eagles Fans On Super Bowl Sunday’ As Revenge
What a freaking joke. They're softer than ice-cream in the summer heat.
