Didn't say DirecTV only, but is it available any other way? It was a streaming trailer at the bottom of the screen on their channel (212). Kind of annoyed I start my job Monday, so won't be able to watch much of the allowed 5 recordings at once. But it'll be there.

Didn't say DirecTV only, but is it available any other way? As far as I know you have to have DirecTV service to get it. Only other way they'll allow you to have it, is if you're area isn't serviced by DirecTV, at which point they'll allow you to purchase streaming options to your phone or maybe computer. Maybe they're giving you a free-trial, which would be awesome. I doubt it though.

Lucky you. I spent $140 on two firesticks, thinking I could get whatever games I wanted, but that hasn't panned out really at all. Pretty pissed off with it actually.

They're not getting anyone to sign up and pay at this point. It's like throw the customers a bone, it's not $$$ they're gonna make. Plus yeah, some people who didn't wanna pay before, and never had it, might decide it's worth it next year. I have my sons stream box. I get anything I want any time. Don't need to record I can watch replays any day. And its free. I can watch movies that are in the theater, pay per view, anything. There are so many weird options out there now. Like some are half legal, you know the story there, you figure out how to get the illegal version, or a friend helps you. lol

Well that firestick Eddie is talking about is just like $79 on Amazon (or was a while ago). And you can't get regular channels. Then Danny probably got something like what you got, except some hybrid version. I'm only guessing it coast him like $100, then the friend who sold it to him had to 'program' it. There are all kinds of codes for this and that. IDK if they are to indiv things like Showtime, Cinemax or whatever. But he can get all these movies, a week or 2 after they're released, but a lot of them cut out like 10 - 30 minutes before it's over. Accident, or streaming capacity issue? I think not. lol

I actually still pay for cable. So I get red zone, Charger game, and a few other games. I can use the box to watch any game I want. I sometimes will put on a game. Like tomorrow for instance, I will have the Rams/Eagle game on the box. I will have red Zone and Charger game on Cable TV. I only have one TV to do this. (Next year two). I will flip back and forth.

They sell them at Walmart for $450.00. He sells them for three hundred. Stream Smart Pro. I'll have to try that one once I can afford to. Does it have to be rigged in anyway by someone, or does it get all the stuff for free right out the package?

Oh, we posted about the same time. I see now that it does need to be programmed. Does your son know how to program it?

My son programed mine. Yes he knows everything. He is your tech support. haha. His friends who have them call him now and then. When a ufc fight is on we have a group text to talk. We all find it easy. Some streams are better than others. They have "follow me " type info to do it yourself.
He told me today he has one left. He just sold five this month. I will see if he still has it and send it to you Eddie if you want.
Do you have cable, Direct Tv, or anything like that? He doesn't. He and all his friend who have them cut the cord. NO MONTHLY BILLS. I will contact him right now and tell him to send it to you. I will need your address. PM me the address and I will turn you on to this. You have nothing to lose. Merry Christmas.
You DO need great internet. If you don't don't bother, it will just frustrate you.

Danny says he gets all the NFL games. But on the phone w/him, he can barely find them, like they are not near each other. And he says he can't view future programming, only what's on now. Mech/elec, cars he's amazing. But he's not the sharpest techie in the drawer. Wanna say I got my 2nd (smaller) 42" LG TV for like $329 maybe 3 years ago. To imagine that a 36" 1/2 ton tube was like $800 15 years ago, man, things are good in the TV dept. Okay, watching something I recorded last week, and getting the streaming thingy saying Sunday Ticket is free on Channels 705 - 713. So it's just for DirecTV customers.
