Who is your team? Thoughts on them and the rest of the league?

Memphis Grizzlies - If healthy (most specifically Marc Gasol), this team can win 50-55 games. Aging core, but there is a lot of young talent that I feel our new coach David Fizzle can utilize and develop. With the Heat he was known as a player development and personnel guru. The addition of a pure scorer (something the Grizz have not had in years) in Chandler Parsons is huge.
Other thoughts: Real excited to see the Knicks this year. Many people don't think their attempt to build a "super-team" will pay off, but I really do see a lot of potential there in that they added several top end role players as opposed to the attempted "super-teams" of the past like the Lakers' Dwight Howard/Steve Nash experiment where the team did not function well as a unit due to too many conflicting egos.
I had my doubts, but Ben Simmons is going to be great.
I'll add more to this as the season approaches (October 25). Idk how many NBA fans we have on here, but discuss, my friends.

I used to be a big fan of my hometown 76'ers. However, they have been disgraceful to watch for MANY years now, and I just couldn't stomach to watch anymore. I used to go to the games all the way back when Charles Barkley played. Loved watching him play. Me and a few of my friends stuck around an hour or so after one game to get his autograph. I know he has a rough reputation for some of his actions, but fact is.... he's REALLY cool as shit if you ain't sitting there heckling him and talking crap on his family. He pulled out with his entire family in the car, wife, kids and everything. Guess what.... There were a bunch of us at the gate, and he stopped and signed every last autograph that night. Never forget that. Meant a lot to me after waiting that long, and was a big fan of his.
Actually loved watching it when there was a big man at center who could dominate a game. That was fun for me to watch. The NBA has gotten away from that for whatever reason, and I find it less entertaining watching guys shoot it from the outside more often. It was fun watching big bodies collide in the paint, trying to stuff it home with a dunk. Shaq, Alonzo Mourning, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing....ect...ect...
Of course I watched when Iverson was around and we went to the Championship. Iverson was phenomenal at what he did, but would almost NEVER pass the ball..... he shot it like 50 times a game at one point. Sure he scored tons of points, but his pride got in the way of him passing it off to others, even when triple covered? Slight exaggeration, sort of. They didn't do a good job of surrounding him with another super talented player, but he did have options.
Anyways, I'm super pumped to once again watch the 76'ers, and basketball in general once again. My team has some really talented players in place this season. While I do NOT think they are a contender, I believe they are on their way soon, and I'm interested once again to watch basketball this season.....been a LONG time....

So many new Pacers, I have no idea. First time in many years we have had a real point guard, and I am excited about that. Hill was a shut down defender at times, but our offense has been stagnant for many years. Teague is a better than average defender for a one, so this should be interesting.

Sixers finally seem to be turning the page now. Future is looking really bright after a few years of tanking. I'm actually looking forward to watching them play once again. Thanks to, and largely in part to Joel Embiid...
Can't wait to see how they look once Ben Simmons is inserted and acclimated into the game plan. Anyone here think the Sixers will be a top 3 team in the league in a year or two?

I haven't tried fanduel on either but I get that impression as well. There are a lot more data points and the data is less noisy.
