Derwin James our first pick has a stride like Zenyatta. Yeah...yeah.. and I float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee. He reminds me of Don Woods. You of course don't know who that is. He wore number 33 also. He was drafted by the packers in the third round in 1974. They cut before the regular season. We picked him up and he didn't play until the third game. I had season tickets. His first run he leaped over the line off tackle and went all the way. I was like "Who is this guy?". Well he won rookie of the year that year. Got hurt and played hurt the rest of his career. Never amounted to anything more.
He had a stride like Dervin James has I think. Long legs that catch up or leave you behind in a hurry.
AP Offensive Rookie of the Year: Don Woods. 1974
edit again. NFL MVP that year............Ken fucking Stabler. hahh. I actually like stabler. But I will never admit it.

Chargers at Cardninals. Boy what a difference a QB Makes. I have watched a drop back pocket passer since Drew Brees. Before that it was Humphries, Fouts, Hadl, Etc. Not a runner in the lot. I think I like that they can run, but give me Brees or Rivers
Not sure who I like better Jones or Smith. It shouldn't matter because Rivers has never missed a start in what fifty years? I don't get the stratage of a totally different offense for the back up. Kerry Collens was perfect, he could come in and do the same style as Rivers. Now if Rivers goes down, the offensive line and schemes change totally.
I see maybe a few wildcat plays. Or Rivers to Cardelle Jones for a TD. Hey it could happen.
I will make a bold prediction. Who ever wins second string qb, Jones or Gino Smith. They will throw a TD pass to Rivers. Mark my words.

Derwin James is a bigger guy than I thought. He reminds me of Keenan Allen physically. I thought Keensn was average size until I met him. He's big. So is James. Way bigger than they look on TV.

But then, aren’t most of them? A hundred years ago, I was a big man. Now I look like one of the seven dwarfs next to most of these guys.

The Saints are in LA practicing with the Chargers. They will have a classy practices. These offenses are tits. Well the Defense may fight. haha. Brees and Rivers and all the back up QBs have a contest going. They take turns throwing the ball at little targets. So far Saints have five, and Chargers have one. Tomorrow they do it again. It's cool video to watch. Brees and Rivers are great friends and Brees is starting to look like a little old man. Seriously!

Thought my kid said the Chargers were in the top 5 in the AFC. My Colts? Only 40-1.

I mean come on. Does anyone have this depth? keenan, un coverable. haha even his defensive team mates say tht. You can not cover him.
Tyrel Williams. Going to lose his job to Mike Williams, but Tyrel is better than any Eagle. haha. True.
Mike Williams.... Yes this kid is for real!
Travis Benjamin....Ya you all forgot about him until he goes all the way. Fastest player in the NFL
The guy we may cut. Davis, Scott, Both are better than tons of them.

It would be a bummer for the rest of the country, but what if the Chargers and the Rams meet in the SB? I still have an affectation for Browns fans too. They have been through so much and keep turning out. Except for their game with the Colts, I will be rooting for them this season too.

I still have an affectation for Browns fans too Yeah I hear ya. Them poor Brown's fans have been through a lot. So far I like what they have done with adding some vets an what they have been doing so far this preseason. The Brown's might just surprise some people this year an that's coming from a Die Hard Steeler fan..

haha in ten plays Chris Landrum. Number 46 for the Chargers has Three sacks, two forced fumbles, three tackles for loss. Someone should maybe block that guy. He was on the team last year but the practice squad I think. Geno Smith is good at running, but he needs to deliever the pass sooner. He holds the ball and then tries to run. I love Rivers, I hope Rivers makes the team, he's not playing tonight.

They just interviewed Mike Williams on the side line. Sorry but that dude is ugly and stupid as fuck. Whats with all this hair these guys have that is a foot above their head? Call me racist if you want, but I think it is ugly. If it was my team I'd make them cut it off. I actually think its not even their hair, its extentions or something.
Give me Lance Alworth and Johnny Unitas.
