Very good QB. Very capable WR in Allen, if he can play a whole season without serious injury. Like the addition of Benjamin, who Rivers has said is the fastest player he's ever thrown a pass to, lol. Gates should still be effective. Think the defense is ok, but not real sure. Don't like the RB's one bit, and the offensive line has been brutal for a while now. They are always capable of contending. Hopefully they don't give our buddy craig440 here a heart attack this season

About time you posted my Chargers. I was about to throw a fit. Not sure why you are seperating all these threads but I was starting to boil that my Chargers were not mentioned.
Melvin Gordon will have a breakout season this year. Mark my words. What? no spoiler? Our OL is greatly improved and barring injuries should be really good. Plus his new/old FB. is in the mix.

I had a feeling you might have been waiting on the Chargers, lol. It wasn't intentional. What do you mean by "separating all these threads"? Do you have a better idea on how to organize it? I'm still new to changing formats on the site, because steelers1954 always took care of that. Actually, dstep05 was the one who created this proboard for us. So glad that he did. Also, Panther contributed quite a bit here too by adding a bunch of different "skin" options for everyone.

It was exactly what Gordon needed. His first TD in his pro career. And if you watched it, you see he wanted it. Hopefully it gives him confidence and he becomes the star he was expected to be.

Well....seeing is believing, but that was only his very first NFL TD, even though he had substantial opportunity last season as a rookie. I wouldn't make too much of it at this point, but it's certainly a nice thing to see if your a Chargers fan. You sooo sure he'll do better than L.Murray in this league, this season....let's make a bet... If Murray does better, you sport a Murray avatar here for 2 weeks. If Gordon does better, I'll sport him as my avatar for two weeks. Come on tough talk.....back it up

I'll make the bet with you. The only thing going to hinder Gordon is the other RB's. I mean Woodhead will take a huge chunk out of the work load and Brandon Oliver is kicking ass so far. Gordon if he reaches his potential is head and shoulders better than Murray. He had a bummer year that wasn't really his fault. He did lead the nation in rushing two years ago ya know. He broke LT's single game rushing record. He just needs a line, and a full back, and a OC. He got all those this year. Who does Murray have to share with? Tywan Jones? hahahahahahahahaha

Gordon if he reaches his potential is head and shoulders better than Murray. I'm not going to sit here and say that Murray is the more talented of the two, although for his speed and size, dude is an absolute beast. Murray has the better opportunity as far as being the bell cow though. Sometimes it all boils down to opportunity. Get ready to sport a Murray avatar for two weeks my friend...

After two joint practices with the Cardinals, Patrick Peterson says Keenan Allen has "All the tools it takes" I guess he would say that after KA13 beat him time and time again this last two days.

I REALLY like Keenan in THAT offense with Rivers. In fact, I had Keenan here last season, and my team suffered greatly when he got hurt. That's just it with him... His upside is a top 5 WR in the league, if he could stay on the field. I know last year was sort of a fluke type injury, but nevertheless... he still got injured and missed substantial time. Almost like ex-Charger Ryan Mathews...when he plays all game, he kills it... but how many games do you feel confident he'll be there for your team? That is the question?

Cardinals vs. ChargersNot much to see here in this one. Gordon ripped off a 12-yard run at one point, but he garnered just six yards combined from his other five rushing attempts( ), and was hardly impressive. Woodhead had just a few carries and was equally unimpressive. Chargers managed just 46 total rushing yards on 27 carries??? That's NOT good children, just in case you didn't know Allen caught two passes for 41 yards, without Rivers, and continued to look good this preseason. Travis Benjamin recorded one catch for 11 yards, and has played sparingly during training camp because of a nagging hamstring injury. Defense did well against Palmer, getting two INT's in the first quarter, although Palmer really sailed the ball on one of em. What am I missing craig440?

After allowing 288 yards rushing against Tenn. we only allowed 68. Our OL is already dropping like flies. Like we seem to do the last few years. Fluker now having an MRI after practice today on his right foot.
Melbane looks like a beast at nose tackle. So far I love the guy. Now get Bosa next to him please.

Dadgumit Brandon Oliver hurt his Ackilles bad. And Joe Barksdale our only OL to play all games last year got hurt. Not sure how bad but that is our third OL guy already this year.
