Cam really came into his own last season, but his play and actions during and after that playoff loss were both really despicable. J-Stew finally had a nice season. Losing Norman hurts this team a lot though IMO.

Panthers vs. Titans Cam with a short route to Ginn who turned it into a 61yd TD. Newton completed eight of 12 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown. Not bad. Stewart made his preseason debut rushing three times for 10 yards and caught one pass for six yards. Benjamin caught two passes for 29 yards on three targets. Reportedly had some issues with conditioning during training camp, but seemingly worked his way back to his usual 240-245 pounds.

Patriots vs. PanthersNewton not lookin' too sharp. Newton completed 13-of-29 passes for 100 yards and threw two interceptions. Newton endured a rough outing Friday night, leading the Panthers' offense to merely a field goal despite playing for the better part of three quarters. Stewart rushed three times for 23 yards. Stewart only played during the first quarter, but was effective in his short time on the field. Benjamin caught three passes for 27 yards on six targets. Benjamin struggled to gain separation against a tough New England secondary. Ted Ginn and Devin Funchess didn't fare any better in an all-around ugly performance from the Carolina passing game.

49ers vs. Panthers (Week 2)They won a game they were supposed to win. 49'ers aren't the worst team in the league, but they're not very good either. Cam looks good, so did Fozzy upon the injury of J.Stewart. Car D is still legit without Norman. They are a contender once again, no doubt. I wonder if Cam makes it through the year though without a major injury. It's only a matter of time when your QB runs the ball that much. Shit, just look at all of the RB's injured through the first two weeks.

Man Carolina really took a whoopin last week. Won't happen this week though, I'll cherish the victory that Atlanta got against Carolina last year forever. But an angry Cam scares me this time around, his team has way to much talent not to win this week.

Well, Josh Norman was a centerpiece to last years NFC champs, without him, they really struggle against a good WR. This team is still good, but you wonder how there are going to fare without Cam for (likely) a couple of games.

Dummies should have paid the man, right?

That Carolina defense last year was just clicking on all cylinders and playing with enormous confidence. Norman has not proven to be a shut down corner for the skins at all, yet alone a top corner. I honestly think this team is still wounded from the beating they took in the superbowl, followed by a second beating from the same team to start the year. I dont think they will recover.

I can't stand Cam, and all of his overly dramatic theatrics. He goes above and beyond to put on a show when he makes a good play, but acts like the bitch that he is when he has a bad game. Sure, a few other QB's have some signature moves when they score, but they are short and sweet. This mofo turns it into a freaking musical production, like Mary Freaking Poppins.

The refs giftwrap a bogus td to start the game and the momentum for them and then he bitches? He has a ton of growing up to do. Both on a professional and a personal level.
