Brady gone for first four games? Will that stay in place, or be reduced in negotiations?

Patriots vs. PanthersBrady looked good. Big surprise, right? Brady completed three of nine passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. Brady made a few beautiful throws, including a 33-yard touchdown to Chris Hogan, but he also got quite lucky on an easy dropped interception. Also, in the preseason finale against the Giants, Brady completed 16 of 26 passes for 166 yards, with a TD and a pick. Blount gained 26 yards on five carries and 16 yards on three receptions (three targets). Blount seemingly moved one step closer to locking down the top power back role, with his night highlighted by a hurdle at the end of a 17-yard run. J.White carried three times for two yards and caught one pass for zero yards. White is on track to serve as the Patriots' top pass-catching back out of the gate.

He looks like he lost more weight than Lacy did and has helped his agility but he is still strong. I think we will be fine this season, but I'm glad he slimmed down to be more versatile now that Lewis is out.

Rob Gronkowski not playing is a huge blow for Jimmy Garoppolo in his first career start. Gronk is a matchup nightmare, with a size and speed combination to best linebackers, safeties and corners. Not having the athletic tight end and security blanket strips the matchup problems the Pats can create in their two-TE sets. Garoppolo will get the headlines as Tom Brady's replacement for four weeks, but it's the man that Bill Belichick traded this offseason, Chandler Jones, we should keep an eye on Sunday night. With New England's questionable offensive line (the Pats always seem to take the first quarter of the season figuring out their protection), Jones could wreck Garoppolo's first start. The Pats have their own linebacker who could be a game changer on primetime. Jamie Collins looks primed for a monster season. Sunday night he'll be tasked with pestering Carson Palmer and corralling running back David Johnson. Collins boasts the size, speed and tackling ability to disrupt the Cardinals' gameplan, including limiting Johnson in both the run and pass game. If Collins and Co. limit Johnson -- something that didn't look possible down the stretch last season -- it will put a ton of pressure on Palmer to make plays vertically. linkgronkelman

Patriots vs. Cardinals (Week 1)Was surprised that NE was able to get the win on the road in ARI without Gronk or Brady. Garoppolo: nice game for the guy under the circumstances. 24/33 for 264yds & 1td with 0ints. Blount: 22car for 70yds & 1td. J.White: Only 1car for 4yds, but did have 5rec for 40yds. Edelman: 7rec for 66yds but no TD Hogan: 3rec for 60yds & 1td. Never heard of him before today. Amendola: 3rec for 48yds Bennett: non-factor in the passing game, with just 3rec for 14yds. Was used more as a blocker.

So if Edelman is QB next week how does the fantasy points work? I've never come across that. I know when a receiver throws a pass he gets the points. So I'll assume Edelman holders would get edelmans QB points but be in the WR slot on their team.

Don't want to blow my own horn but TOOT TOOT!!! Good call. I also liked him coming into the season this year, but was worried about how Belicheck would use him. I'm fotunate enough to have him in a league that awards a half point per carry Wonder how much work he'll get once Brady is back? So I'll assume Edelman holders would get edelmans QB points but be in the WR slot on their team.

I would imagine his carries will go down, but I prefer that they wouldn't. I think the team has learned a lot about themselves the last three weeks and we need to keep a balanced attack!
I'm a little more nervous about the bills now than I was before after beating the cards!!!

I'm a little more nervous about the bills now than I was before after beating the cards!!! Yeah, but ARI isn't exactly looking like the serious SB contender many thought they were, coming into the season though. Bills are a good team but feel to me like a very inconsistent team though. If they can continue to put up 30pts a game you may have some concerns, but I feel like NE's defense is better than BUF D right now, and the NE offense will likely be more consistent than that of BUF as well. If BUF can bring their "A" game at home, I think they'd have a chance to beat NE.

How can I do that? Are you going to record a muted video of yourself saying that and post it here? That would be cool
