I know most are trying to cut back on leagues but I wanted to get an idea on who would be interested in POSSIBLY joining my league next year?
It would probably be on NFL.com and not sure of how many base players there will be if any but I was looking to start a 10-12 team league or maybe even an 8 team.
Looks like my long standing MFL league is probably going to be disbanded after 30 freaking years.
Its a shame but there has been alot of creative issues that have come about in the laat month or so,that doesnt sit well with me or someone else. Basically the 3 guys including myself canot come to agreement and looks like its the end.

If it's a league where you just draft and pick up players off the WW to replace injured guys, I'd be for it. I've always wanted one league where whoever is on your team counts as points, without worrying about setting a lineup. Not sure if that type format is available though.

The points might be similar to what we have now. If I can make it that way. For instance Td's are 10 points with every 100 yards 10 points. Every 10 yards would be 1 point. And PPR.

NFL has an option for cheating (I know Jeppers remembers my thread). You pay $1 for each bench guy you want to count if the orig starter tanks. Anyway, never heard of what you're describing. Craig may recall MFL's best ball leagues that Ace started. I believe it was that site that issued the unforgettable post-draft feedback "Craig, you are a shameless homer." Anyway, is MFL still a 'pay only' site? I recall it was the best by far, and probably worth the money. It's it's a money league, then def worth it. I'd love to join your league Jeppers, but not sure how I'm gonna handle the ones I already have if the moving plans come to fruition, which would be sometime next summer. I'd be doing virtually everything myself, from packing to uncluttering, selling stuff, giving most to Goodwill, multiple trips, and then the real fun begins, driving down there. So I can't make any commitments for 2019.

Well I'd be willing to talk about your league, as long as you promise to respect me in the morning.

We been paying 30 bucks a year per person. Kinda wanted to get away from that too. Is it worth it? Meh....I dont think so,but it may be worth say 10 or 15 per person. Not a money league but we have been winning a ring every year. They do have alot of options that you can do,that you cant do anywhere else such as tournament play in NFL playoffs and all kinds of diff scoring settings, wall of fame, with plaques and the like. Sorta like a trophy case for the league. Drwabacks are the fact that the site can be difficult to operate and navigate if youre not used to it. It can be complicated and things dont always work right. It is a good site though,,but like you said...you do have to pay real money for it. I wanted to re-open the league except not on the MFL site but on NFL.COM

What kind of league? Re draft- Keeper -dynasty? Its a re draft league Dan. I really like the option of playing tournament play for the NFL playoffs but I dont think no where else has that option. Its sorta like nfl dot coms thing they do with the playoff challenge except you draft the players instead of picking them. We had two conferences set up with 10 teams in each conference. total of 20 teams. each conferense had their own draft. So each side is sorta like their own league but in the same league. For instance it would be possible for you to play someone out of conference and both of you have say for instance ANdrew Luck as the starting QB. The points that both teams would get from QB position would cancel out because both teams had Luck. Of course I will miss that aspect of it. The new league would not have that. As being a redraft league we never went by last years finishing order either. Sorta like what jeffrey's league does. The draft order gets generated every year.

As being a redraft league we never went by last years finishing order either. Sorta like what jeffrey's league does. The draft order gets generated every year. My leagues are like that too, must redrafts are I believe - randomize the draft order. That playoff league of yours sounds a lot like our OGs vs. NGs, except we only had 1 draft. So you only play peeps from the other conference? And the most wins tot wins it all? The beautiful thing about MFL was the options for customization, just incredible. Not just settings, but how you could view/sort players and stats. For instance, they listed 'most PPG (pts per game)' but games started or played. IOW, it accounted for missed games you may have forgotten about. Second best software IMO is Yahoo. I love, love, love it that you can look up all players by team. Like 'I want all Miami WRT week 12, or all Philly RB proj wk 13. And their injury reports and player updates are probably 2nd to none. The only slight is they elimated the chat/smack talks. IDK why, cuz everyone complained like crazy in their forum. They said they'd work on it for next year, but they did not. They must have a reaso. Oh, I think they wanted you to text thru their app or some weird shit. I love the league home page on NFL, you can comment on people's moves, 'worms crawl out', and the matchup discussion appears there as well. But the actual FF software is horrendous. There is no freaking excuse for projections not accounting for your settings. Defense is always garbage, with a range from 5.5 - 8 pts, no accounting for returns, and who knows what else. Very, very little customization. Not necessarily a dealbreaker. obviously. 'It is what it is', as challenging as you make it within its constructs.

NFL Yahoo Cup Round 13 [$3K Freeroll] sports.yahoo.com/dailyfantasy/contest/3650065Like Draft Kings, you pick a team each week using an allotted salary cap. My team this week: QB- Cousins RB- A.Jones RB- L.Miller WR- Odell WR- K.Allen WR- A.Humphries TE- Gronk Flex- Yeldon DEF- KC vs. Oak
