I do one every season with my cousin and his co-workers for the past three seasons. Won it the first season, split the pot with my cousin the second season, and didn't win anything last season. Didn't think it was going to happen this year, but just got a call and draft is going down on espn tonight around 9-10PM(ET). Talk about last minute. Don't even know draft order or payoffs yet.
10 Team Basic PPR Settings with a $100 Buy-In. They're deciding now if snake or auction. I've never done an auction draft, and while they sound fun, I don't want to do my first one for cash. So far majority has voted for snake, but need more votes. I'm excited that I didn't miss out on a money league this season. These fools ain't gonna know what hit em' when I'm done drafting. Will post results and possibly link to draft when it's over.

Alright, so ended up being an 11 team league. Weird, I know.
It was fucked up, because we weren't given the draft order until 1 hour before the draft.
Whatever though. Drafting in THIS league was different than CTM or NFFL. Rb's didn't all carry the same type value as Wr's. Standard PPR settings with big play bonuses.
Had to adjust my draft according to the settings. I was the 9th pick out of 11.
QB- Cousins(6)
Rb's- Hunt(2), Mixon(4), Dion Lewis(5), C.Thompson(7), Chris Carson(9), A.Peterson(11), Ronald Jones(14)
Wr's- Hopkins(1), Diggs(3), Fuller(8), Stills(12), DJ Moore(13)
TE- Burton(10)
Saints D/ST(15)
Saints Kicker- Lutz(16)

So was this an Auction Draft? What's with the numbers, that rounds you picked them in ? No. It was a snake. I'll edit and convert the numbers into rounds to make it easier. First draft that I can remember taking a WR in the first round, but Hopkins was the 6th highest scoring player (excluding Qb's) in this league settings last season... 1.Gurley 2.Bell 3.Kamara 4.Hunt 5.A.Brown 6. Hopkins Not bad for the 9th overall pick. Especially considering I was able to nab Hunt in the 2nd round. He was the 4th highest scoring player there last year. I'm really high on Diggs this season, so to get him in the 3rd round as my #2Wr was awesome, and Mixon as my #2Rb in the 4th round I thought was good too. Overall, I feel that I drafted pretty well, and I feel good about my team.

My draft went well I think in my money league. I was seventh of twelve. 1 ppr and BIG bonus for forty and fifty yard TDS. These guys are pretty good and they all show up. For $100 bucks they should. They weren't nearly as Charger homers as in the past. I did my home thing. I'm banking on Mike Williams to break out. And I don't understand why people think Ronnald Jones and Peyton Barbar are a better tandom than Gordon and Ekeler. Also Morris and Berrada (sf) are better. Gordon/Ekeler are far better thqan both those combos. Any way I will list my team in order I drafted. Okay I won't Ill just list my team Rivers Gordon, McCoy, Lemar Miller,G Bernard, montgomery, Ekeler Hill (kc) M jones (det) garcon, R Anderson (loved this kid last year), Mike Williams, Albert Wilson (another one I think can do well. Better in a league that gives points for returns) Doyle. (Luck can't throw deep) Vikes Fat boy Prater.
My Rivers to Williams for a fifty yard TD will score me over fifty points on one play. It's going to happen. Probably week one. When we send Travis Benjamin deep on the right and Williams deep on the left and Keenan over the middle. Probably on the first play of the game. Look for it.

Any way I will list my team in order I drafted. Okay I won't Ill just list my team My draft went well I think in my money league. I was seventh of twelve Oh I'd say your draft went very well with the 7th overall pic. Rivers Gordon, McCoy, Lemar Miller,G Bernard, montgomery, Ekeler Hill (kc) M jones (det) garcon, R Anderson (loved this kid last year), Mike Williams, Albert Wilson (another one I think can do well. Better in a league that gives points for returns) Doyle. (Luck can't throw deep) Vikes Fat boy Prater. Let's break it down. QB-Philip Rivers (Homer) 6th round not a bad pick but I guess you started getting a little worried when 6 QB's were taken before you pulled the trigger on Rivers. RB-Melvin Gordon 1st round,LeSean McCoy 2nd round, Lamar Miller 4th round: Getting these 3 backs within the 1st 4 picks you had were outstanding. For depth you added Giovani Bernard in the 11th round,Austin Ekeler 12th round, and Ty Montgomery 14th round. WR-Tyreek Hill 3rd round,Marvin Jones 5th round,Pierre Garcon 7th round,Robby Anderson 9th round,Mike Williams 10th round, and Albert Wilson 15th round. Not so sure about Garcon but as a whole you have a good group of receivers. TE-Jack Doyle 8th round I guess he's okay not someone I would have taken. K- Matt Prater (you like them Fat kickers) Def-Vikings 13th good pick Overall you put together a very solid team. The only thing different you could've done was take Kyle Rudolph in the 7th round instead of Pierre Garcon, then in the 8th round if he was still available you could taken Garcon if he was still there,if not you could have taken Devin Funchess who would've been available for you.

Not sure why I keep taking Albert Wilson. Probably because he used to piss me off when with the Chiefs.

I'm seriously thinking of putting my money where my mouth has been all preseason and stating Mike Williams over T. Hill in my money league. The Chargers defense is far better than KC and we play them. I have heard KC defense sucks. We are at home and Hill will have Hayward on him. What do you think?
Oh and Tyrel Williams foot is not much of an issue, or is it? I think our HC is a little like BB on that kind of stuff
I'm getting really excited. Last year during a few Charger games I had to use a nitro pill under my tongue. They are just crazy games.

Old guy rules Loads Up on Backs
Draft Grade B Proj Record 7-6 Proj Finish 7
Draft Summary
After picking seventh overall, Old guy rules is also projected to land in seventh place in East County 12. Let's hope that prediction serves as bulletin board material. They went after ball carriers early, using three of their first four selections on running backs. Going hand-in-hand with that early investment, Old guy rules secured one of the most prolific quartets of running backs in the league.
Old guy rules might be a fan of the Los Angeles Chargers. They reached three times to draft a player from that team. Old guy rules might be interested in shopping a WR to upgrade in other areas. Their fourth-ranked WR, Robby Anderson, is projected to be better than the league average at his position. Old guy rules hedged their bets by scooping up Austin Ekeler in the 12th round to back up Melvin Gordon, his Los Angeles Chargers teammate (a 1st-round selection).
