I am going into my second season of Fantasy Hockey. It is a keeper league but we are adding two more players to the league so we are debating on how to do the keepers or if we should just do a reboot on the keepers. One of the guys will be pissed because he got the first overall in the lottery and picked McDavid and we set the league up as a 4 year keeper.
Any thoughts on how to take care of the introduction of two new teams in a keeper league?

Maybe let the guy keep that guy and then redraft? I don't know anything about hockey. My daughter plays fantasy surfing. haha. I had never heard of that. She says the Brisilians kill it.

Then do a normal draft. Then after the season everyone keepns 4.

@craig Funny you mention let the one guy keep McDavid, it was one of the suggestions thrown out. It solves one issue with one player but then pisses everyone else off so it may create more issues.
@dan we only keep 2 players, I am not a fan of the keeper rules that are set up. They want to have two keepers but the keepers wont have a pick number associated with them so everyone makes their picks in order minus the last two rounds to account for the keepers. I said that is dumb but a couple other guys including the commissioner didnt like it....

So let everyone keep 1 and then after new players join go back to 2. I am not a fan of fantasy hockey. Too much work

Thats right, I forgot....my bad! I've asked this question before They frustrate me. So much talent so little drive I really like how they are constructed! Stevie Y has done a masterful job of building depth in the organization and getting value on trades. He also seems to use the Tax laws of the region to his advantage! He signs Kucherov to a great deal but in reality Kuch will take home more money then Tavares in Toronto. Tavares will take home around 600k less per year even though he counts for 1.5 million more on the cap. I think your team is poised to be in the eastern final this year and has a legit shot at representing the east in the SCF.
