Think I've got past the roughest patch after what seemed like an eternity. 10+days of irregular heartbeats and panic attacks because of it.
Honestly thought there was a chance my card was about to be pulled.
Anyways, these past 3-4 days I've felt much closer to normal.

Saw a doctor yesterday. I'm on three different scrips now, after I told him what I've been going through. Keep in mind, he wasn't a cardiologist.
Told him that my anxiety is what I think was bringing on panic attacks that would make my heart race, and that my anxiety was also keeping me up at night.
Thing is, I'm not sure if it's my anxiety that was causing irregular heartbeat, or if it's my heartbeat that was causing me to panic? I should find out soon enough now after taking these meds for a few weeks.
All three meds are used to treat both anxiety and/or depression. So far so good.

use your mind! Go to A great calm spot, and close your eyes. Talk to God. Relax, meditate! Don't do anti depressents. Lower your blood pressure. Get the cheap cuff blood pressure thingy and learn to lower your pressure. i will send you one if you give me your address. I'll have amazon deliver it. They teach you a lot about your pysical and mental state.

Not sure what the doctor gave you, but anti depressants don’t necessarily treat anxiety and some can really fuck you up if the blood chemistry is wrong. Controlling high blood pressure is a good thing if you have it. Rhythm problems are a different thing though. Hoping for the best, but you need to see a cardiologist.

I agree that a multifaceted approach should be taken in these types of circumstances, and I appreciate your advice. However, Craig, I absolutely needed medication to help get me through this, at least for now. I don't know how else to explain it, other than once an anxiety/panic attack starts, it's almost like a bad LSD trip that just doesn't want to let go of me physically or mentally. I've dealt with this several times over the years, but only on rare occasions mostly, never on any regular basis like this past month or so. I never spoke to the doc about depression, but anxiety, although some meds are treated for both. I've slept and felt so much better these past few days, so I say so far so good.
