Hey Doc. You talk okay! I'll forgive your messages if you tell us anything. I don't want to jinx anything, but I've been feeling slightly better the past day or so. I'm far from out of the woods though, because I still don't feel normal. I have a doctor's appt set for WED. I'll try to check back in tonight.

Actually got out the house today for a few hours. Been cooped up for over a week, mostly in bed, wasting away watching TV & taking it easy as possible. It felt good to feel good enough to get out for the first time in awhile. I needed it. Went to a local pier about 10 minutes from my place to check it out. Hot and sunny day. Wasn't there long. Bout 20+ min. Talked to some locals to see how the fishing action was there. It's a REALLY nice pier. They spent a lot of money on that thing. Was told they call it the beer pier, because there's a bar upon entry, then another one down the end of the pier, and they've usually got live music too, and it's often open 24/7 to fish, although the bars obviously shut down about 10-11pm. It's the closest beach and pier from my location, and just so happens to be one of the coolest around. Sweet. I'll be back, health permitting. Hit up an Italian spot on the way back that claimed to have Philly Style Cheesesteaks and what not. Wasn't disappointed. Owner was from Philly and food was legit. We talked about the old neighborhood. Today was a good day, even though I still don't feel close to 100% right. It's Memorial Day Weekend, my friends. If I feel at least as good as I did today, I'm going to the beach tomorrow with my family....and check this out...I'm gonna try to do some boogie boarding so long as my heart doesn't start skipping beats or going crazy. Got a nice tent and umbrella to stay out the sun, bring some tunes, and hopefully have a great day. Have a feeling it's going to work out, at least for tomorrow. [crosses fingers] I hope you all have a great holiday weekend.

I have a doctor's appt set for WED. Glad to hear you're finally going to see a doctor. You've been through a lot this past year, moved to another state, quit smoking & cutting back/ quit drinking (coffee & alcohol). One of these by it self can cause you stress, all of these combined together can also cause stress. Don't know if you are working but maybe finding some kind of job would take some of the stress off of you. You've faced your problems in the past head on yet this time you let fear control you maybe because it had to do with your health. What would be more fearful? Having some kind of medical problem or waiting too long to have a doctor tell you if you only would have come to me sooner I could have helped you with this problem. Hoping that the anxiety/panic attacks go away will not solve your problem if left untreated it could become worse. I know because my wife has problems with anxiety/panic attacks and they get pretty bad sometimes, to the point that she has to go to the ER before she calms down. Not meant to scare you then again maybe I am. When it comes to your health you need to swallow your pride & get the help you need instead of trying to deal with it yourself. Make sure you tell the doctor everything so that he can start the proper treatment plan to make you better. You know I'm here if you need to talk, I've been honest with you when we've talked. I don't know everything but sometimes just talking to someone can help. Love ya buddy.

One last thing. It's not important if they like you or not over at PSR what is important is that they gave you sound advice. Again learn to swallow your pride & don't be so damn defensive when they give you the advice you are asking for.

I have only experienced anxiety a few times and it's terrible. So I don't really know what to say to help. The doctor will though. I have a little machine you put on your wrist that takes my blood pressure and heart rate. It only cost about $25.00 at Wall Greens pharmacy and I use it a lot. I have learned from it that when my blood pressure goes up so does my chest pain. I then kind of meditate and relax, think of a happy place and time in my life (my happy place). I take deep breaths and within fifteen minutes of so I'm a lot better. Might help you. It kind of sounds like you may have Afib. That's when your heart beats irregular. There is things they can do for that.
I don't know if PSR is good for you or not. Might stress you out or might let you get some release. I don't know. But if you had a little machine like mine you could find out. Take your blood pressure and heart rate before you engage there and after. See what it does. I've learned a lot from taking mine. Weird enough my blood pressure goes down when my heart rate goes up a little. My heart rate never goes over about 85. Sometimes as low as 65. You can go to a pharmacy and they sometimes have a machine you can use for free, but that doesn't really allow you to use it enough. Good luck Eddie, we are praying for you, and we really care.
Love ya buddy. Craig and Larryb.

i've had panic attacks myself. scary stuff. i hospitalized myself twice over them. the first time i thought for sure i was fucked. happened before and after i moved to colorado. a lot of stress about the move, money, and smoking and stuff. eventually i got prescribed weak xanax to deal with it. i don't eat it much. just having it in the cabinet is usually relief enough and i haven't had an attack for a couple years now and still have some of my original like 30 pills

Funny/Cool story from that pier. I went back the following day, and was kinda offered a job. Met the owner and everything. Been out of work since I moved here, about 8 months or so. Still getting checks from my last employer, but that's gonna run dry soon.

I think it's more than just anxiety for me though, unfortunately. My appointment was supposed to be today, but now has to be rescheduled because of something else out of my control.
