Lions signed Blount to a 1 year $2 million contract with an extra $2.5 mil in incentives. I like this move. Good thumper to match up with someone we draft with a little Abdullah to mix in for flavor. Starting to think Riddick might get hung out as trade bait going into the draft since the Lions also brought Zenner back and now have 7 RBs on the roster.

Check you out, breaking news I didn't know yet. He was a key player in our SB run. I'm sure he'll help out your offense.

Just gonna paste what I wrote at PSR about an hour ago: ""Blount is on the wrong side of the, running backs tend to become terrible after they turn 30 wall," Fix this, you obviously meant : Blount is on the wrong side of the wall, running backs tend to become terrible after they turn 30" It's not clear where Blount's 1st SB ring came from. You don't mention it. Had to be the Pats though, eh, after they beat the Colts? Nice work as always. I've always been a big fan of yours, so gonna give you my honest thoughts. Wading through his entire history is a bit cumbersome cuz the reader is trying to ascertain which if any of those factoids affect this signing. I love the last paragraph, wear and tear, all that stuff is significant. I think that's what people are most interested in, what spin you put on the signing. You could've mentioned Theo Riddick at the very least. Along with an overall assessment of and changes affecting the Lions outlook for this year. EDIT: What is this 'quadhunting' name all about? " Doc - I kinda assumed Blount was or was gonna be a FA for quite sometime. I'm frankly surprised he's getting $4.5 mil (doesn't say how much is guaranteed, and too lazy to look it up). The fact it took 4 days after free agency started (actually over a week ago without signings) tells me he probably had very few suitors.

First, the QuadHunting name comes from a play on my last name, Hunting, and the fact I'm one of four children. It was something my dad came up with years ago, and I decided to use it as my "brand" name. The name will probably be fading away soon, as I reached an agreement with another production company to merge with them. We'll see soon as we have a meeting this week to discuss the future on Monday. Second, I appreciate the criticism, cause it helps me get better. I may be a snowflake millennial, but I know its all helpful critics. The reason I didn't bring up Riddick is that I'm going to work on another article talking about the running back situation now, and how I think the Lions would be smart to trade him while his stock is high.

Okay, but you can't count on readers with a million things to do and/or distractions on social and otherwise media to anticipate or come back looking for an update, if they even care. If they care, you'll have piqued their curiousity (as you did mine) to go elsewhere to see what's going on. At minimum, there could've been a brief take on Riddick with a link to an existing article about him. If it doesn't exist, you've got to cover it. Just MHO. I mean, IDK, this all might be semi-experimental for you. But if you have a following with interested Lions fans, you know they are wondering.

Wow still more than a month away from the draft and trades are already being made by teams moving up. This years draft should be really interesting.
Bills go from #21 to #12 in trade with the Bengals. Will they stay at 12 or do they try to make another trade an move up even more in the hopes of drafting their QB of the future?
Jets trade up from #6 to #3 in trade with Colts to get their future QB. I like what the Colts did, do they stay at #6 or do they move down again with another team looking to trade up?

Chargers sign center Mike Pouncey. Is he the guy who was bulling that guy in Miami with Incognito? Possibly. Google it. haha Mike Pouncey, 15th overall selection in 2011. Guessing he must be talented, lol. Everything starts at the line of scrimmage, so both of the lines are extremely a huge priority for successful teams. I'd be happy if I was a Chargers fan.
