This is Super Bowl time and my Eagles are in it! You refuse to talk about anything Super Bowl related? This is fucking pathetic. I expected more from you all. Lame ass mofos. I've gotta re-evaluate shit, cause this is ABSOLUTELY pathetic. Well let me see. What can I say. The Patriots hummm tired of them. Yes we know Brady and BB are great, we know we know. They do seem to get breaks at the right time and I wouldn't put it past BB to have found a way to cheat that hasn't been found out. They don't interest me in the least unless I have fantasy players playing against them. Eagles. Never really liked the Eagles. Don't know why. Maybe it was Mike Vick. Saw the players for the puppy bowl today and there is a cute little puppy that looks exactly like my dog before this dog. Brooklyn passed away in me and Mars arms. I think I will watch the puppy bowl. I'll watch the game and root for the eagles just for you and Dive. There was that pathetic? Nah, that wasn't pathetic at all. Love ya buddy.

I think I will watch the puppy bowl. I'm so sorry you lost your dog. I remember you posting a picture or two. I lost my dog about 7 months ago. Was Brooklyn your only dog, and how long ago did that happen? I'm sure you mentioned it here before, but I forget? This picture of my daughter and my dog 'Buddy' from years ago... How time flies...

One multimillion dollar bet on Eagles changed the point spreadInteresting story you can click on above link to read for yourselves. Someone placed a “multimillion dollar” bet on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII, changing the point spread just days after the team swept the NFC Championship. He went on to say... “I mean last year we had really strong handle show up on Saturday and Sunday with several large wagers when the Patriots took on the Atlanta Falcons,” he said. “And I got to believe the Eagles fan base is every bit as loyal and strong as they are. So, this could potentially be one of the strongest matchups that we’ve had in a long time for a Super Bowl.”

Chris Long called Eagles in free agency, not the other way aroundChris Long took free agency and turned it upside down the same way he often does opposing quarterbacks. Rather than wait for a call from an NFL team last year, he pinpointed where he wanted to go and made sure it happened.
The defensive end revealed this week how the process went down just months after he won a ring with the team the Philadelphia Eagles are playing next Sunday in Super Bowl LII, the New England Patriots.
Incapable of sitting and waiting for things to unfold, Long proactively cold-called Eagles exec Howie Roseman. He wanted to play in Philadelphia after a conversation with former Eagle and current Los Angeles Ram Connor Barwin.
“That is true,” Long said. “Where I was last year there were a bunch of people who were like, ‘You’re crazy, you’re leaving the Patriots and you suck. You’re old, you’re washed up.’ “I’m like, 'Man I need to get on a team.' ... I was antsy to get on a team and I saw the team I wanted to be on. It was real simple for me.” Honestly, I didn't know what to expect from this guy. I knew he was older, and didn't know how much he'd actually be able to contribute. In reality, this man has been a HUGE addition to this team. He's the master of the strip-sack and "Johnny on-the-spot" during the most crucial times in big games this season. Always loved his pop Howie Long, and I absolutely love Chris now too. What a baller'

Was Nick Foles always destined to return and lead the Eagles to the promised land?Seriously, this is a good story. The irony in all of it is almost too much to just ignore. Larry Foles (Nick's Father), says he always thought his son would end up back in Philadelphia, where Nick Foles’ career began with such promise. Larry Foles said this feeling grew stronger when his son signed with the Chiefs and former Eagles coach Andy Reid in 2016; Foles knew Reid and Pederson, who was the Eagles QB coach when Nick was drafted, remained close. To an outsider, this whole business might seem like the craziest thing ever: Team loses MVP candidate quarterback Carson Wentz in Week 14, brings off the bench a guy who looked like its quarterbacking prodigy four years earlier, but since then has kicked around with a couple other teams, once even contemplating retirement. The forgotten QB then leads team to Super Bowl. Traded to St. Louis by Chip Kelly early in 2015, benched after less than a season there as the starter, released, then signed for a year as a Kansas City backup, Nick was a half-forgotten relic of the Eagles’ recent past this time a year ago. Weeks after a wild card-round playoff loss to the Saints ended the Eagles’ 2013 season, which included an amazing 10-game quarterbacking stretch in which Nick Foles threw 27 touchdown passes and two interceptions, Nick’s college quarterback coach (Frank Scelfo)at Arizona had this to say: “You don’t talk to owners all the time,” Scelfo said. “Howie grabbed me, said, ‘Do you mind having a word with Jeffrey?’ You gotta be [kidding] me! Yeah, I’d love to talk to him.” What Lurie wanted to talk about was Foles. Though not so much about his quarterbacking. “The biggest thing is that he recognized the person. You look at the numbers, he’s a good quarterback. That’s not what Jeffrey, what I saw him alluding to,” Scelfo recalled. “What I saw him alluding to was, ‘What a great guy. What a great person. What a great man.’ … He’s humble. He gives everybody else praise. He thanks God, he thanks his teammates, he thanks his coaches. You’ll never hear him say . ‘Boy I did a great job today, and I took those guys on my back and I had to do it myself.’ … Some guys do that.” My take: It couldn't have happened to a better person than this guy. Class act. He deserves this 100%, and I truly believe he's going to make the most of this opportunity and make Philly fans proud. “It’s about being smarter, really, more than anything else. ‘If I ever have this opportunity again, these are the things I’ll do better.’ … It was a learning process.” - Nick Foles Eagles open as biggest Super Bowl underdogs since 2009BRING IT!!!!!!!

Apparently North Dakota is full of bandwagon Eagles fans... they'll only root for us when Wentz is playing I assumed the person who made the map thought ND was MIN. Ya know, sour grapes.

I think the Eagles just want it MORE, and the main reason I think we're going to win is from the overall talent and depth on our defensive line....
Brandon Graham: NFL Draft - Round: 1 / Pick: 13
Fletcher Cox: NFL Draft - Round: 1 / Pick: 12
Derek Barnett: NFL Draft - Round: 1 / Pick: 14
Chris Long: NFL Draft - Round: 1 / Pick: 2
Timmy Jernigan: NFL Draft - Round: 2 / Pick: 48
Vinny Curry: NFL Draft - Round: 2 / Pick: 59
The talent and depth is undeniable. Perhaps the best defensive line we've had since the Reggie White era. The way that Jim Schwartz masterfully rotates them also keeps them fresh. Not just that, but because they're so talented, Schwartz is able to line them up in different positions as well to confuse an offensive line.
I fully expect Belichick to run a no huddle for some of the game to keep us from rotating them how we like, which is the best idea. However, I don't think it will matter.
Tom Brady's only superbowl kryptonite has come against the Giants, mainly because they were able to put pressure on him with just the front four (for the most part). This Eagles defensive line has been #1 in the league at putting pressure on Qb's this season, and I think they're a much better group than the Giant's had when they beat Brady twice.
This is a very special group of players who I think are going to wreak havoc on Brady and that offense.
It's not just the defensive line though, this entire Eagles team is stacked with talent and are hungry to go out and prove a point. I believe they're a better overall team who is hungrier to win, and I think the results will speak for themselves.

The Eagles got the big MO(mentum). IDK if the extra week hurts or helps, sure hope it's the latter. I mean the Pats got lucky for their win over the Jags. Ours was (as Jeppers would say) a good ole woodshed beating.

This one's for my brother. He was buried in an Eagles jersey. Literally.
Sure we had a nice suit, but it wasn't a fitting representation of who he was.
He was employed with the team at training camp years ago. He met and knew all of the players. McNabb, Westbrook, Dawkins...etc..etc... and they all knew him. He was a character, much like myself.
I've always been the bigger fan between us two though, by far.
