Okay, so this topic came up on one of my local sports talk radio channels. I wanted so badly to tell them my favorite one, to see if anyone else would agree, but I was in no mood to be on hold 45 minutes to an hour. So I will ask you all instead. Madden Football is certainly one of my all-time favorite games. craig440 gonna like this one.... Darren Sproles was the man for me. Don't remember what year it was. He was still with the Chargers then. I'm thinking like 08'-09' maybe? Anyways, I had a few sweep run plays with him that were nearly unstoppable. I also used to put him as my kickoff & punt returner, and usually scored with him like that too. Sproles used to get my friends so pissed....

You're not allowed to post that many, and you never mentioned what game, although it seems obvious it must be Madden. I'm assuming Madden. You only get to choose one, then delete the rest. Deal? Which one was your absolute if you had to play a game for money that you would choose, and what year(if you know).

No doubt. I dont know the year but it was on Nintendo.

Never played Madden WOW. You would have absolutely loved it if you had. IDK about today though. Too many options and buttons to remember for me, personally. I like it simple as can be for the most part. Waaay too many options for me to ever try to compete today. I can't invest that much time in learning the game with all of the new innovations. Did you ever play any other sports video games, like Tecmo Bowl or ANYTHING else? Hahaha....I was sure Jeppers was gonna choose Bo Jackson, from the old nintendo tecmo bowl game, when he was with da Raiders

I think he had something crazy - lemme check ... Okay, check it out 2011 - 86 catches. www.nfl.com/player/darrensproles/2506467/profile But you have to look at return stats... Well I tried, not avail on NFL, not my computer anyway. But I recall distinctly he had 1300+ return yds, he did both kicks and punts, it was sick.

I don't what my favorite game of all time is... I've played a lot. But I can think of a few players that I loved in certain games that I spent a lot of time playing:
Madden 2002 - Michael Bennett (RB) Vikings... He had 98 speed, which was way faster than most RBs, so he could burn if he found open space. I typically go for players in football like Al Davis used to draft them... pure speed. It works in video games, not so much in real life.
Madden 2016 - Von Miller or JJ Watt. I love guys who can get to the QB, and with both of them I just rack up the sacks.
Fifa 2014 - Romelu Lukaku (ST) Chelsea. Not sure if anyone else plays soccer games, but Lukaku is young, tall, fast, good in the air and great at finishing. I score like crazy with him.
NBA games - Roster Player... The fill in for Jordan, since he was above letting them use his likeness. I hated the name, but RP's stats were killer.
NHL 2014 - Jordan Eberle (RW) Edmonton Oilers - Eberle is small and quick and you can deke the pants off of guys.

I havent played any is some time. Id have to go waaaaay back to EA sports NHL 93, Jeremy Roenick. I think I played a season and got 180 something goals with him. But back then games had a lot of cheat goal spots. I played a little madden 08 but dont remember any stand out players probably because I used the Giants. So basically just shut everyone out and scored 10 points

Still comes on to local sports shows sometimes. 180 goals though...imagine that in real life

This year in Madden I am building an ultimate of nothing but current Falcons and former legends. I already have 88 overall Matt Ryan and 89 overall Julio Jones, Jones would have to be the guy for me this year. Hopefully Tony Gonzalez or Roddy White or Deion Sanders come out in the future for ultimate team.
