You know, it had to be this way didn't it? A team with a shit history taking on the team with nothing but greatness in its history. I wouldn't have it any other way, best of luck to you Green Bay but know that I am expecting a battle until the end. One that I am sure you will win, but I'm not proud to say that.

Packers vs. CowboysIt certainly wasn't looking good early on. I remember seeing the score with about 4 minutes left before the half(21-6), and was like WTF. Yes, I was a Packers fan last week. Hate the fucking Cowgirls with a passion. Turned out to be a barb burner, huh? Packers came back though and found a way to win at the end. That's what good teams do. Better yet, that's what great Qb's do, as Rodgers is a one man wrecking crew, and you can never count that team out because of him. 4-1 record. What you think, packdog? They gonna have a showdown with Philly in the playoffs, and are you worried about facing the Eagles if it comes down to it? Also, Ty Montgomery who, lol? Sounds like he has a chance to play Sunday at Minnesota, since he was listed as a full participant for a second straight day Thursday (while wearing a flak jacket to protect broken ribs). What's his fantasy stock right about now moving forward for the rest of the season?

was very similar to the playoff game last year. my wife is a cowboys fan so it's always bittersweet in my house when she's upset. arod does go a long way. it's a shame he only has one ring to this point but i am grateful we have a legit chance annually.
and i'm not too worried about philly. not yet anyway. we are banged up good right now but still winning. we will get healthier and better. philly does look good and they will improve their weak spot in the secondary when darby gets back. still, their weak spot is where we excel so i expect the pack could put up points on them. it all would depend on how our defense holds up against their offense. prolly not well and it may come down to a game where the last one with the ball wins.
and the book on monty always was he's a bit injury prone. ribs is kinda unavoidable but he has the sickle cell thing like john brown so i am worried he gets nagging soft tissue injuries. aaron jones looked good though so i imagine he has earned more touches and they won't be giving monty the huge workload he had to start the year. i could see a rbbc forming when monty gets healthy with jones getting touches and carries with monty being in on passing downs and no-huddle drives. jones has an opportunity to steal the majority of carries if he keeps running like he has. already the top rusher on the team in two games

Sorry for your loss brotha. yeah, it sucks. 4-2 and feel like the season is over. he did miss only 7 games with a broken collar bone before but that was to his non-throwing shoulder. he's likely done with it being on his throwing shoulder as surgery is prolly the best remedy. hopefully, hundley looks better with more prep and we don't fizzle out completely

That being said, you guys have already won a superbowl and have enjoyed plenty of success under the Rodgers era, unlike us, who haven't been relevant since the Reid/McNabb era. Even then we still didn't win a superbowl.
So while I do feel you're pain, I do believe it increases our odds to go further in the playoffs this season. Playing against Rodgers on the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field in the playoffs was not a possibility I was diggin' too much, lol.
Same can kinda be said for having to go on the road to Seattle, against the still dangerous Seahawks, or to New Orleans against Drew Brees.
Atlanta and Matty Ice have looked kinda shitty this season, so while they're still a dangerous team, they don't worry me all too much.
Having to possibly face the Panthers again in Carolina (seeking revenge against us) could be worrisome, but we've proven we can beat them already, even when the officiating crew was trying extra hard to hand them the game.
The Rams are extremely surprising this season, but I've noticed they suck against good run defenses that can bottle up Gurley and force Goff to win the game. That's what we do good. Think we give up the fewest average yards per game against the run.
Like Aikman said during the game (halfheartedly joking), maybe GB can convince Romo to come out the booth for one more season? I'd never wish this type of injury on any team, because karma can be one helluva bitch. Nevertheless, Rodgers injury certainly does change the landscape of the NFC playoff picture.

I really don't like the unnecessary roughness type of cheap-shots either though. That hit on Rodgers clearly looked unnecessary, and I'm shocked there wasn't a penalty flag thrown. Players should face severe punishment for doing that type of stuff. The defender had his head up and was looking right at Rodgers as he clearly threw the ball. In this case, a picture really is worth a thousand words... He was still a step or two away when the ball was out already. He didn't even make an effort to slow down or avoid collision at all. In fact, he made sure to bring him to the ground AND land on him too. Yes, Rodgers was outside the pocket. Nevertheless, it was unnecessary roughness. With all that they've done to protect the Qb's more, I'm a little shocked this wasn't flagged and fined; especially against a player of Rodger's stature in the league. I'd be fucking livid it this had happened to Wentz.
