It's okay to enjoy when your team is playing well, and the Falcons certainly are. Now that doesn't mean you should start planning on Super Bowl though. Enjoy the ride. It will be at least 3 years before I even think Super Bowl, I just need to see this team not collapse. IDK, I think Broncos are a better DEF than Seahawks. Although I realize SEA has a better offense. Or Broncos were shorted w/out Siemian. But this is a very winnable game for the Falcons IMO, their offense is that strong. SEA off a bye, eh, it's not looking great, but if they win this, they have a lock on their div, hands down. Probably a 1st round bye, but let's not get a 1/2 season ahead of ourselves. lol

After we beat the Bronco's tomorrow night, we will fly across country and beat the Falcons. Whoooo hoooo start of our run. Boy 7007 you and I are totally different in how we think of our teams. You are reasonable and I am just a dreamer. I do remember Rivers saying before though that we were going on a run and we won eleven in a row. So I don't think logically until I'm forced to.

So much craziness happens in this league, you could be right about winning 2 in a row. Hell Atlanta will be coming off two straight games a long way away from home. Their heads could elsewhere and not focused. That game will be our trap game.

Escaping a brutal stretch 2-1 that included facing both Super Bowl participants and the best defense in the league is something that I believe only positives come out of. Coming back home 4-2 against a Chargers team with a deadly offense will be a task. I'm not the most confident in our defense right now, but we have to keep moving forward.

Hey craig440 can the Chargers for once take a week off and not play well? Because Atlanta is bring back their black uniforms and I want these to possibly become permanent next season. www.thefalcoholic.com/2016/10/19/13330494/falcons-black-jersey-atlanta-throwbacks-chargers-week-7-georgia-domeAll jokes aside, I expect a tough game come Sunday. Atlanta's response to such a heartbreaking loss will be indicative to how well they play for the rest of the season. The Chargers are fighting for McCoy's job, so this win could possibly save him. Our defense will have to step up, this is probably the best offense we have played all year.

Well it's time to cool the engines on the team a little bit. There is not enough defense here to win a playoff game, hell may not be enough to make the playoffs. Still have the division lead, but this team is going nowhere fast without one side of the ball. Glad I never changed my expectations of this team though, they are not worthy enough for it.

Chill out broham. You still have a winning record, and only lost by a FG in overtime to a VERY desperate and hungry SD team fighting for their lives to stay alive. I do agree though, your defense will cripple you all in the playoffs, as good defense usually wins vs. good offense in meaningful games. Ya'll were the first team to beat the Broncos good defense at Mile High, which isn't an easy task. I'd say ya'll have a decent shot if the defense can improve even just a little bit...

San Diego is a good team and they deserved to win, but it is honestly frustrating to lose to a team when you are up by 17 at home. I go back to the fact that I was not expecting much out of this season and still are looking to the future. But as of right now the NFC South is a 2 team race between Tampa and Atlanta, but Tampa probably has the better chance to win the division. This next game against Green Bay will determine whether or not this team has the capability to make the playoffs, Green Bay is going backwards no doubt, but is Atlanta going forward? They haven't proven it to me yet.

I am blown away right now. I did not see this game ending the way that it did, defense is still a work in progress, but they came through when it mattered. The division may be decided on Thursday. The team must step up against Tampa this time, going to be a tough one no doubt.

Not saying a gimme, but it could be worse, as no doubt you can imagine.

After the beat down of Tampa and a long break it's time to visit Philly, I expect it to be the same as last year, high scoring with the game coming down to the wire.

Bye week could not have come at a better time. Coming off our worst game, injuries at key positions such TE, CB, RB, and even the Punter are not good things to have. I never expected to be 6-4 at this point in the season and I am anxious to see the second half, I only wish that the team finds a way to stick together and not collapse like last season. One good thing that comes out of this week, every team in the NFC South but Tampa Bay lost, so no matter what happens next week Atlanta will keep the division lead for now.

Don't recall what happened last year, but will say this going forward... No one has it better than them in certain aspects. They play 4 of 6 remaining at home, including the next 2 - which also happen to be the toughest opponents, AZ & KC. You should lose one of them. After that, an awful trip to LA Rams, but beatable. Remaining 3 games, 2 are NO & SF at home , they should win both - and a short flight to the struggling Panthers. Bottom line, they should finish no worse than 10-6, or they are likely a Wild Card casualty. But they have a lock on the div unless something really bad happens, like JJ or Ryan goes down. No other team in that div can realistically go better than 8-8.

You never know what happens in this league but finishing 9-7 is certainly obtainable, the team isn't much of a contender but getting a postseason birth would go a long way.
