Still have Brees, and I really like Cooks and Ingram. They need better play from the defense, and also another WR to step up. Snead seemed like the candidate to break out this upcoming season with the departure of Colston, but not sure now that they believe in him after drafting another WR to compete. I'm expecting Fleener to make a solid contribution.

Saints vs. TexansFleener got quite a bit of playing time, but had just two passes for 12 yards on two targets. Brees got sacked... I can't see much of anything else from the saints starters here. Chime in if I'm missing something.

Steelers vs. SaintsBrees was sharp in Pittsburgh, completing nine of 12 passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. Thank goodness. They been kinda dismal before this game. I'm relying heavily on that offense this season in your league steelers1954. I drafted 3 Saints as my starters....Brees, Ingram & Cooks. Didn't even realize it at first, with two drafts going at once. WTH with this Spiller cat. Wasn't he supposed to be washed up years ago? What do I have here, another freakin' thorn in my side like Hillman? Ingram may find his per-game workload reduced from last season, as Spiller looks like a much different player now that he's finally healthy Snead caught four passes for 58 yards, including a terrific 17-yard touchdown reception between three defenders. He's looked good so far this offseason.

Raiders vs. Saints (Week 1)Brees has a field day. 28/42 for 423yds & 4tds with 2car for 5yds. Ingram: 12car for 58yds with 2rec for 29yds. Glad they're throwing to him also. Snead: HUGE day! 9rec for 172yds & 1td Cooks: Also had a HUGE day. 6rec for 143yds & 2tds with 1car for 11yds M.Thomas: 6rec for 58yds. The kid had some buzz this offseason, and they are certainly involving him in the game plan. Doubtful he gets his number called on a consistent basis though.

Saints vs. Giants (Week 2)Not very impressive in this one. Surprised Ingram hasn't been involved more in the gameplan. Loving the progression of Snead though.

Wild wild west shootout maybe, with lots of points?

Yeah, it's funny how that works out sometimes. I often wonder how much Vegas is involved. I know, I know....conspiracy type shit. I sound like Jeppers a bit right now. In ALL seriousness though, there is NO organization/entity in this entire WORLD that hasn't been corrupted by cash flow/revenue. Sometimes when it looks too good on paper, you can often expect the direct opposite... However, in this one here, I'll give the Giants defense credit playing at home.

I know vegas is involved but to what level I have no idea. That confused look that Eli has on his face could never be faked lol.

Now that you're here tonodank I will send my early congratulations to you on your team's upcoming week 3 win. I know I've done this before, but this is the game I always had circled on my calendar that Atlanta would lose. 10th anniversary of Katrina, of course the NFL would schedule Atlanta in town, not a good team like Carolina. Brees is going to have a field day because of our pass rush being garbage. But if I had to pick, I'd rather lose this matchup than week 17 which will be the last game in the Georgia Dome. I don't look forward to this game, because not only is Atlanta going to lose but New Orleans will bring out Gleason and make me feel like a piece of shit for the whole game. Nobody outside of Atlanta is rooting for the Falcons in this one.

TBH, IDK what ATL's problem is aside from the DEF. Does the o-line have major issues as well? Cuz I DO have Freeman in one league, and can't figure out what they are doing there. You ask many RBs and they will tell you, the more work you give them, the better a groove they get into and perform.

Oline for this year's Falcons team is probably the best line that Matt Ryan has had since 2010. Not sure about the Saints run D but starting Freeman might be a risk because I have no idea what goes on inside the mind of Kyle Shanahan. But if anyone has Drew Brees prepare for many points because he will be getting them in a big way this week.
