So we can watch football games on those? If my chargers are blacked out can I watch? I'm getting to lazy to go to the games. I can't beat up Raider fans as good as I used to. haha

Yes you can. There's a lot of stuff on those sites, including pay-per-view stuff such as the WWE show tonight. Basically they intercept tv broadcasts and transmit the raw data. Quality varies from site to site and with the quality of the broadcasts themselves. I've watched every Rams game for the last 2 years, except for a preseason game against the Browns in 2010 which was hit by technical problems. Pretty much any live sports broadcast from anywhere in the World will be online somewhere.

Thanks, I'm gonna post this in our graveyard PB. We have a couple Euros in there, njc and jersdal. We got a DirecTV package that included 2 years of free NFL Sunday Ticket, so I'm thriled. It's usually $300 a season.

Good stuff. Thx LAB! I get the Red Zone package, but it's constantly switching back and forth through different live action games. A lot of the time I don't care to much for the games they choose to focus on. All I care about is being able to watch my fantasy guys in action(that didn't sound right). I'll certainly be trying to use those sites this season. If they work good, I may not even re-order Red-Zone

I really like red zone and last year it only cost me nineteen dollars for the whole season. One of the chargers black outs there were only two or three games going so I got to watch almost the whole charger game.

However, at the same time, I also hate not being able to focus on specific games of interest. Those sites may just be my answer

@jeff, I mostly use that one too. It's become the biggest name in the market. Some of the others can be a nice surprise though. That Aoso site out of Russia hooked up to the Game Pass broadcasts last year and had a lot of the games in HD. They've not got much at the moment though. Vipbox looks a decent choice for the Olympics. I think they're hooked into the 25 BBC Olympics channels. They also had the best quality stream of the David Haye fight a few weeks back.

It looks like the Charger Dallas game will be blacked out. I will try one of these.

It looks like the Charger Dallas game will be blacked out. I will try one of these. They DO work, but ARE a bit annoying at first. There are advertisements that make you think you need to download something to watch it, but those are only advertisements. When you first chose what you want to watch, it will hit you with a timer and an advertisement for like 20 something seconds that blocks the screen of view. Once the timer is up, you can x out the ad, and then you need to open the game to full screen mode, or you'll get hit with another ad. It's okay once you get used to how it works.

Okay thanks Doc. I will test it if the game is blacked out. We have to sell 6500 tickets by tomorrow night. Where the heck are you Cowboy fans? We rely on you out of towners. The Packer fans came and we made money and we won the game. Come on Dallas.

It's not really a problem if you use Firefox. There are a group of 3 add-ons:
Ablock Plus 2.1.2 Ablock Plus Pop-up Addon 0.4 Element Hiding Helper for Adblock Plus 1.2.3
which are a god-send. They are why I stick with Firefox really. The first one wipes out a lot of adverts and the third one, (requires the main Adblock to be loaded), will remove any part of a webpage. If a pop-up advert gets through I click on Adblock Plus , click the Select an element to hide, and then zap the offending item. It stops most of them coming back. It kills 80-90% of the problems. I use it on a lot of NFL.com elements such as the adverts, fantasy drop downs, NFL rewards etc.
If you use Firefox and don't have these loaded then give it some serious consideration.

I do use firefox. So I go to one of those sites and add those there? Bear with me I'm not the sharpest computer hacker around.
Which one on your list do you recommend most LAB?

I'll save you the long-winded procedure. Here's a direct link: addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=adblock%20plus&platform=WINNT&appver=14.0.1Move the cursor onto Adblock plus and then onto 'add to firefox'. Follow the simple load procedure. Do the same with the popup and element hiding options, (the 2nd and 4th listed items). Once they're loaded you'll need to restart Firefox. After that you're good to go. I'll go through some tips and basic stuff tomorrow. Most of the stuff is pretty easy. I'll leave out anything complicated until you've been using it a while. Once you've switched it on it's mostly a case of practice, with some trial, and error. I'd advise you to find a site you wouldn't otherwise go to and try to block individual adverts. On most sites it's really easy. For practice purposes stay clear of sites you normally use.
