*Keep in mind, the targets I'll be mentioning in this thread are the ones that may still be available after the first wave of FA's are claimed on WED mornings, and after I've already gobbled up the ones that I want. lol
We compete against eachother in multiple leagues, so this thread may not be very helpful to anyone in leagues that you compete against me in, but may be helpful in your other leagues. *
Week 3
To anyone who's unaware, K Dan Bailey is still available in many leagues. Formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, and one of the best in the business, has now been picked up by MIN. Vikings play in a dome and have a high scoring offense. Unless you already have a stud top 5 kicker that you really like, I'd go out and grab him wherever possible, as I've done in all of the leagues I'm in where he was available.
My #1WR add off the WW I can't mention just yet, because I've got a claim in for him set to go through tomorrow morning. Apparently someone else also put in a claim for him too. I'll let you know who that is tomorrow.
Quincy Enunwa, NYJ WR- All of the hype was about Robby Anderson this offseason, but the chemistry between Enunwa and rookie QB Sam Darnold has changed all of that. Enunwa has clearly established himself as the Jets' number one receiver, seeing double digit targets in each of the team's first two games.
Geronimo Allison, GB WR- Firmly entrenched as the #3 WR in GB with gunslinging Rodgers at the helm, GB's #3 WR could easily put up #2 WR production for you in that offense and is worthy of at least flex play consideration most weeks or a stash on roster.
Chris Godwin WR TB- Definitely worth stashing, flex or 3rd wr consideration. He's in an offense that's had trouble running the ball and airs it out so far heavy and often. M.Evans & Djax will demand all the coverage leaving this guy plenty of one-on-one matchups downfield. There was a lot of offseason hype about him, and so far he fits the bill.
Those are just a few that I've targeted and picked up off the WW this week in some leagues.

I do keep an eye on the WW/FA list and have picked up a few players where I needed to. Thanks for the info.

Oh wait I know what that is. It's the thing I have to use if I ever want someone. I'm always last because I have to use it because you East time zone people pick the Free Agent pool clean before I wake up. East coast bias.

I guess I never really payed any attention to what you are saying. I usually ge the player I want So we don’t just use the waiver order? How do east coast gets an advantage

So we don’t just use the waiver order? How do east coast gets an advantage Since our order does not reset, we only move up if we don't use it. So what the people do is wait until the ww is over and pick the people they want as a free agent. Not affecting their ww order. Then they move up to one or two in the order. When someone "special" comes avialable they can get them thru WW. Not complaining, just this happens all the time. I have to set an alarm to wake up in the middle of the night or they will all volture the good guys. I'm usually drunk and don't wake up.

So lets say I want to stream my defense. Which I do. I have to use my ww priority to get say the Bears defense. Otherwise the east coasters are drinking their coffee and can take them for free. I'm a sleep. So I use my ww priority to get them. Thus makes me always last.
So when that "special" guy comes available, I have no chance.

Well 2 weeks ago the waivers cleared at 3:50 AM EST, so we were not up yet 'drinking our coffee'. That was when Steeler picked up that guy at 3:30 AM (12:30 your time). I often wake up between 4 and 6AM, and sometimes even by that time, it's too late. lol I won't set my alarm for 3 AM though. lol I think Jeppers had you pegged with the No Doze for a modest 12:30 - 1 AM. Or you gotta get the booze on earlier, then take a nap early evening. lol In all seriousness though, remember how Steeler went in there and got a FA b4 the WWs cleared? That takes dedication. Maybe he got lucky. But that's a real PITA looking for that window. In a big $ league, I bet they all do that kinda thing.

If ya wanna see what happens sometimes... cutthemustard.proboards.com/thread/1146/nffl-league-discussionSometimes, for a night owl, it could be nicer to clear by 12 to 1 AM local time than 3 - 4 AM. So IDK who it's really easier for. For me it depends on the week, don't have a set schedule.
