I'm not a fan of Qb's who have a hard time seeing over their own offensive line, are skittish in the pocket, and don't necessarily have great arm strength to boot. Did you hear what Troy Aikman said last night "I'm 6ft.4in. and I had trouble seeing over my O-Line at times. I think he does ok in the pocket, he's accurate & a playmaker. He'll sit & learn for a while from Tyrod & when ready he start, they got time to work on his short comings be what ever they are. But you're right time will tell.

A guard at #6 is interesting, but lord knows the Colts need to protect Luck. The Colts need talent on both sides of the ball & you're right they need to protect Luck. Good thing is they have plenty of picks for rounds 2 & 3 to get some good players for this team. Lord knows they need help everywhere.

Actually, the Eagles don't have a pick until that #125, except for the #52 they traded the #32 for. So they better pick good. They sold the pick farm for Wentz apparently. Well worth it, but they can't afford to further squander the draft board. Doc - Get this... Didn't realize that Lamar Jackson is 6'2" & 1/4. That like 1 & 5/8th" taller than Mayfield. Well, that's a knock too, just not as much. But you don't hear it mentioned.

I don't know much about these kids so I rely on others opinions. We have the fifteenth pick in this round and I want Hurst the DT I think. We need a fat guy thats not a kicker.

Luckily for them, they've got a very special QB, who when healthy, has the ability to always keep them in the game. It all starts up front though, on both of the lines. I was really surprised that Luck missed the entire season last year. Thought for sure he'd only miss a few games. Kinda disturbing that he's STILL not throwing the ball after all this time. Very disturbing, actually. Hoping they do well this year though, if for nothing else, but to lift the spirits of our friend Blue Meanie.

Well, that's a knock too, just not as much. But you don't hear it mentioned. I have faith the Eagles will make a good selection. It's to be noted, that they brought in Joe Douglas (vice president of player personnel), just a year or so ago... Eagles' top scout who has climbed the ranks to become one of the NFL's top talent evaluators
Two good links above that let you know more about who he is. " Joe knows what makes good players, he learned from one of the very best in the business, [Ravens general manager] Ozzie Newsome."I was very happy with our picks last year, particularly, our first round pick last year(14th overall), in Derek Barnett. That's who I actually wanted us to grab, and we did. Unique talent, and excellent sacker of Qb's. Barnett went to the same college as Reggie White, and broke his sack record at that school. That's very notable, as I think Reggie was the best DE in league history, and I don't think that's a stretch at all to say. As for Mayfield, he's listed at 6'1", but that may be a tad bit generous of a listing. I've heard others say he's 6 feet tall. All I've heard about Lamar Jackson, is a ton of hype. Don't know how true it is, but the hype for him has been strong a few years now. He's compared to Vick, and even Vick said he thought Jackson was a better version of himself? One of Vick's problems, is that he was only 6 feet tall. He always had a really hard time seeing over the line of scrimmage. That's why he was always leaving the protection of the pocket, so that he could see down the field. Vick's best season, IMO, was probably that one magical year in Philly, where he was up for league MVP. Think he got hurt that season though, and didn't finish out the season, opening the door for Foles... if I'm not mistakin'? Defensive coordinators were able to study his magical season though, figured out his tendencies of leaving the pocket, and made appropriate adjustment to stifle similar success for him upon his return though. Lamar Jackson's 6'2" & 1/4 frame should be enough, if he's as talented as some say, to overcome that issue. Coaching is the key for that, IMHO. Will be interesting to see him play, and how that all works out.

Let's roll!!! haha A tight end OK, I'm kinda surprised, but not upset, that we didn't pick Guice. I mean, we DO have two VERY capable Rb's in Ajayi & Clement already, BOTH of whom I like very much. We DO love to use two TE sets, and that TE looked like a phenom. 6'4" plus, and makes one-handed catches like OBJ.... OKAY. I'm good with that.

Honestly, I think that fucked up the cowgirls plans too, as Witten just retired, Dez is no longer there, and I think they had that TE targeted. lol
NICE

Here goes some rumors I hadn't heard about Derrius Guice, and probably explains why I was so wrong that we were going to select him, when we passed on him TWICE. Jay Gruden disputes report of Derrius Guice altercation with EaglesDoesn't really go into any detail, but dude must be a POS. Glad now that our rival is stuck with him. Fuck em'
